Minor Accident With No Injuries B”H

Today at around 12:00pm an ambulance was rushing through the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Bedford Ave. and a Jewish woman had to short stop to let the ambulance get through and got rear ended by a yellow SUV who couldn’t stop in time to avoid collision.

B”H the 2 woman that were in the car didn’t get hurt and their car sustained minimal damage, unfortunately it wasn’t so for the SUV, it was however still capable of driving away.

A part of his bumper got pushed up into his tire, so he tied the part up to a tree and backed up, making the car drivable.

    its cool the way he improvised there tying it to a tree, we should all learn from that. just think how much he saved on the tow-truck right there.

    everyone check this out, i drive an ambulance so here’s the story: ambulance drivers/emt’s are supposed to drive with "due regard" when driving in an emergency. yes they can pass through red lights, and exceed the speed limit etc but whatever they do, must be done with "Due Regard" according to the new york state dept. of transportation/bureau of EMS. so here’s the thing… if an emt gets into any type of accident, he/she is responsible and completely at fault…why? because he/she was obvioulsy not using "Due Regard"! lol
    so this person can sue big time if they want.
    anywayz, sorry for the whole lecture just thought everyone should know lol
