The shulchim held captive by the terrorists are two among several Yiddim, and we are all precious to Hashem. By all means we should say Tehillim for Gavriel Noach and Rivka, but what of the other anonymous Israelis held at the two hotels? What of Rabbi Teitelbaum (Aryeh Leibish ben Elta Nechama Maltshi) and Rabbi Chroman (Bentzion ben Elka), who were in Mumbai on business for kosher certification? Simply heartbreaking. The poor infant son of the Rabbi and his young wife will grow up without knowing his parents. A terrible tragedy for all the victims, families and friends. We have all got to stand up in the face of these shameless terrorists and those who continue to sponsor them. That is the least we can do to honor the dead and those that survive this horrific ordeal.
Disheartened
This is just terrible. Man is supposed to be above the level of an animal, as the Torah so explicity writes. Man was created in the image of God. Now would you look at that, look at who murdered them. Animals who have bodies that resemble those of human beings. This is disgusting.
