In the near future this stamp will be issued, on it there will be a drawing of 770 on the background of the world with the words Chochma Bina Daas printed on it, as well as a pair of Tefillin and Shabbos Candles.

This stamp celebrates the major impact the Rebbe and Chabad have had in Israel and their social and religious contributions to Judaism globally. It is a major step for the secular Israeli government to acknowledge the enormous efforts of Lubavitch.

Should this stamp be made available by every Chabad House worldwide (even only by request), it will mark the first time in history that a government issued postage stamp has been so widely available upon immediate release.

The stamp carries a denomination of 2.20 NIS and is valid for use within Israel or can be mailed there worldwide.

Mr. Sam Malamed, whose firm represents the Israeli Postal Authority in the United States and Europe, expects an immediate sellout of this issue. The Rebbe has touched more people then any other Jewish figure in modern history. Given the global admiration of the Rebbe and Chabad, this may possibly be the most sought after Israeli stamp ever issued.

The Shluchim Office is working closely with the producers of the stamp to secure a large quantity for use by shluchim. Once released, the stamp will be available at The Shluchim Office.
