The books are housed in Mayanot’s recently-renovated, combined library and Beit Midrash. In addition to its shelves of Talmuds, Chumashim, and classical Jewish philosophy, the library possesses an impressive collection of Chassidic writings. All of the major books of the Lubavitch dynasty are represented, including leather-bound editions of the Tanya, Derech Mitzvosecha, Likute Torah, and Torah Or. Many of these works are also available in English to enable students who are not yet able to study in the original, to access these important texts.

The library has already become the hub of Mayanot life. The program employs a student librarian to care for the collection. Students enjoy using its computer and wireless internet access, as well as late-night chavrutot. The dedication of the library was a crucial step in creating a cutting edge, well-rounded learning program for women from around the world. Students are quick to grab a book and find answers in the text – a skill that Mayanot strives for, and succeeds, to foster.
