Mesivta Oholei Torah has fantastic Shabbaton

On Shabbos Parshas Shmini, Mesivta Oholei Torah, Hanholo and Bochurim totaling more than 120 people k”ah went on a Shabbaton to Saratoga Springs, NY.

The Bochurim were accompanied by the majority of the Hanholo, former camp, Yeshivas Kayitz head counselors and directors , as well as Rabbi Pesach Nussbaum from Montreal, Rabbi Zev Kadaner, and Rabbi Abba Rubin. (Shliach in Saratoga).

On the way they stopped off in the @ the Capital of New York State in Albany,

where they were received by the Shliach Rabbi Rubin. Rabbi Rubin led them into the senate building where they heard a few words from Rabbi Rubin and member of the State Assembly, Mr. J. McEneny who then read a proclamation honoring Reb Michoel Teitelbaum o.b.m., the founder of Oholei Torah.

Following this, the Bochurim went ice skating in Saratoga Springs.

Shabbos started with Seder Niggunim and Chazoras Dach, followed by a Lebidike Kabolas Shabbos, then Seudas Shabbos, at which a few Bochurim Chazered a Sicha, Rabbi Wilhem taught some new niggunim and later turned into a Farbrengen that lasted all the way into the wee hours of the morning. In the morning after Mikveh there were Shiurim in Chassidus, followed by Davening and auctioning off the Aliyos for more than 800 lines of Tanya! A Farbrengen which lasted all afternoon long. After Maariv and Havdalah the Fabrengen continued until it was time to board the busses to go to the gym for swimming and sports! B”H the Shabbaton had a positive affect on all present.
