CrownHeights.info has received word today that the offices of the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council did not open up today. The reason we heard was that the CHJCC employees were outraged by the fact that their health insurance policies were altered with out their knowledge or agreement.
From what we were told that this isn’t a coordinated strike, it is each employee expressing their outrage at whoever is behind this.
We will publish more information as we hear about it. If you have anything to add to this you can email me or post it in the comments.

Your report is thankfully not true. The employees will have choices of health insurance policies. There is full cooperation between the Directors of the CHJCC and the employees. Readers can rest assured that the Council will continue to benefit the kehilla.

they definitely helped me when i needed it. and they didnt "just give me papers" either.
if you dont like them or agree with them on things thats fine, but you gotta give credit where credit is due.

why r they all of a sudden going on strike? anybody know?

The employees did not strike. They were at work yesterday. There was a misunderstanding about what new health insurance policies were to be continued. The employees reasoned with management and both are working together now.

Vote for REFORM
I agree, there is alot of stuff here that needs to be fixed up in a major way, if only people had the guts and courage to stand up and do something about it!!
And ‘MIKE’ do you realy have t impersonate eople to get your point across??
mike bloomberg
yanky: we have a rebbe who basicly told us to be on shlichus or here. when someone comes with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and positive ideas to improve the community that is very well welcomed by all but to just blast and complain and be negative shouldnt be tolerated.
having said that i apologise i didnt really mean what i said. :-)
to vote: hey i cant help it if someone else has the same name as me.

I don’t think anybody notice that the CHJCC was closed yesterday
