A few new signs went up on Kingston and President, Kingston and Union and Kingston and Eastern Pkwy. the signs read “Don’t Honk - $350 Penalty”.
Now as most of you know of the ticket blitzing that keeps on going on in our neighborhood [where crime is always at its lowest], well this is just another warning for something that they have the new ability to “catch you on” [a pretty expensive catch].
So for all you drivers, please make sure to wear your seat belts and use your phone with a hands free kit or just don’t use it, and now don’t use your horn either.
No More Honking on Kingston Ave.

Honker in Midwood
LOL too funny – thanks for posting – let us know if ANYONE gets a ticket altogether – I really never saw anyone get a ticket for honking and I live in Flatbush with those signs being pretty common.

They’ve had these signs for a while in my neighborhood and nobody pays any attention to them. On the mornings when cars get stucks behind the garbage trucks, it sounds like they are trying to compose a symphony with all their horns. I’ve never seen anyone actually get a ticket.
Priorities!!!
they should start concentrating on the more srious problem at hand – the increase in serious crimes before trying to keep the noise in CH at a minimum !?!?
