Fire Tears up Bodega and Apartment
Crown Heights, Brooklyn – In an early morning fire a bodega and an apartment were completely destroyed and what firefighters are calling a suspicious fire. The fire broke out at around 7:20am in 690 E New York Ave which is on the corner of Albany, FDNY arrived on scene within moments and began battling the fire and the fire was subdued shortly thereafter.

The fire broke out from the first floor which houses the bodega, all of the occupants got out in time while the apartment, which was also severely damaged was empty at the time. Fire marshals were requested to investigate the cause of the fire.
There were three minor injuries to firefighters but thank g-d none of them were life threatening, there were no injuries to any civilians.
