Car Burst into Flames on Eastern Pkwy

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Later afternoon Friday a car driving on Troy Ave and Easern Pkwy burst into flames. The incident happened as the vehicle, driven by a Black male was coming up onto the intersection of Eastern Pkwy from Troy Ave. He saw smoke coming out of his hood, and quickly pulled over and called 911.

By the time firefighers arrived the car was engulfed in flames, and had to put the fire out.
