Serious Tragedy Miraculously Averted

Photos by Shturem.net

This murky morning [Wednesday] at around 7:10am a fire broke out in a home on President Street between Brooklyn & New York, the family was just getting up and getting the children ready for school when smoke all of a sudden filled up the house. A call was immediately placed to 911, which sparked a quick response but when they arrived on scene they immediately called in for more backup, bringing a total of 9 fire trucks and engines.

The home which is constructed mostly of wood and sheetrock was quickly engulfed in flames, but thanks the Fire Department both parents and all 5 children were able to get out of the house unharmed! Due to the intensity of the flames, the fire fighters had to saw off the security gates and punch a big hole in the roof to gain entry to the upper levels of the house.

What caused this fire is still unclear and is being investigated.

if i were alowed to say: the only good thing that came out of this terible tragic fire, it is that if not for those noisy fire engins i would of slept straight through chasidus.

    Ok, let’s just clarify this.

I got a call to my cell this morning but didn’t hear it, the call was about this fire but since I didn’t hear my phone (dead tired) I couldn’t get out to take these pictures myself.

Now the article states clearly in two places where I got these photos from, so what’s the big fuss??

  • OT bochur

    to: Lubavicher P.S. 841 buchor,
You can see that I’m an OT bochur from the fact that I sign my name that way!. Thanks.
You should actually thank me for giving you the opportunity to leave out some of your hostility and energy. I think I made it pretty clear that I was NOT trying to offend anybody. Sometimes the best way to deal with a tragedy is a little sarcasm. The family is as far as I was told B"H all safe and I wish them only the best & good news. As it’s said, "noch a sraifah vert men raiech!"
Ps: bochur is usually spelled “bochur” not “buchor”, Im an OT bochur ., what”s your excuse??
