Lubavitcher Yeshiva Salutes Dedicated Bus Drivers During Severe Weather

As Crown Heights was hit with heavy snow and challenging road conditions this week, the safety of our talmidim remained the highest priority.

Tomchei Temimim would like to publicly express heartfelt hakaras hatov to the incredible bus drivers who worked tirelessly to bring the children to and from Yeshiva safely despite the severe weather.

Navigating icy streets and constant delays, the drivers demonstrated patience, professionalism, Long after regular dismissal, they remained focused on one goal: ensuring that every child arrived home safely.

It is well known that the Baal Shem Tov himself would personally escort children to cheder, understanding the immeasurable value of every moment a child learns Torah. Ensuring that children arrive safely to and from school is not merely transportation, it is part of that very same Avodas Hakodesh.

We are privileged in Crown Heights to have several mosdos and many dedicated bus drivers serving our community each day. We therefore call upon all members of the community: whether you see a bus serving your child’s school or any other mosad, take a moment to say thank you. We all owe them our gratitude.

On behalf of the hanhala, staff, parents, and especially the talmidim, we extend our sincere appreciation to the dedicated bus drivers of Crown Heights.
