Kingsbrook Shul To Light The Menorah Honoring 75 Years
Honoring 100 years of Jewish history, and 75 years since the synagogue was built.
A hundred years ago, Kingsbrook Hospital was founded as a proud response to antisemitism, forming a vibrant Jewish community around it, with the Shul at its center, shining a beacon of light, hope and Jewish perseverance.
Seventy-five years ago, the menorah was lit for the first time at the newly inaugurated Chaim Albert Synagogue, illuminating this neighborhood for generations. Though we are currently barred from the shul, we will not let the light go out.
Join us as we celebrate, pray, and honor our deep roots and affirm our commitment to keep this light shining, with hope for getting back our beloved Shul.
