Today’s Hayom Yom: העכער און העכער — The Call to Rise Higher

When the Alter Rebbe was asked, “What is Chassidus?” he answered simply:
“Chassidus is Shma Yisrael.”

He explained that Shma is an acronym for “S’u marom eineichem” — “Raise your eyes on high.”
Not to the heavens (shamayim), but marom (even higher) — to rise העכער און העכערhigher and higher.

It’s not enough to just look up.

A Chossid’s life is about going higher than logic, yet bringing that higher feeling into your mind and actions.

It means taking what’s beyond you and making it part of your daily life — to believe you can do more, to reach beyond what seems possible, and to make it real.

That’s what Tomchei Temimim stands for.
That’s what this building campaign is all about.

Building העכער און העכער, Every brick, every beam, every floor we add isn’t just construction, it’s a declaration.
We are not satisfied with “good enough.”

We are climbing העכער און העכער — higher in Chinuch, higher in Avodas Hashem, higher in vision.

This is the Alter Rebbe’s Shma Yisrael brought to life:
To see beyond the walls, to build beyond the limits, and to make the Marom — the higher — tangible right here in Crown Heights, in our Life

So Join the Climb, When you give to this campaign, you’re not just helping build a building,
You are answering the call of today’s Hayom Yom.

You’re saying: I, too, will go העכער און העכער.
