Major Kaporos Announcement for Crown Heights Residents

Fifty years ago, I had the great privilege of working alongside my father, to start bringing Kaporos to Crown Heights and helping to “Keep Minhagim Alive.” Baruch Hashem, that zechus continues until today.

A few years back, recognizing the heavy financial burden that Tishrei brings upon families, I approached generous donors to create a community-wide subsidy for Kaporos. That’s how the $5 pre Erev YT Kaporos began. Ensuring that every member of our community could participate in this sacred minhag with dignity.

Now, as a 50 year anniversary and with gratitude to Moshe Uri Ben Malka, we are thrilled to share a groundbreaking development: Kaporos on Erev Yom Kippur will be available for only $10, With Shechita.
