“What better time for a father and son Melava Malka than on Yud Daled Kislev; the day that connects us with our father, the Rebbe” were the opening words of Rabbi Y.Y. Simpson, principle of the Yeshivah. He then went on to speak about the importance of parents and teachers working together to create an all around Chassidishe atmosphere.

The hall was beautifully decorated, befitting the occasion. The center of attention was a life size picture of the Rebbe – being mesader kiddushin, under a real Chuppah canopy.

Father, Chaim Rosenberg, Master of ceremonies, entertained the crowd and humorously introduced each of the programs for the evening.

Two students, Dovid Leib Morozov of Kita Gimmel and Yoni Gratzman of kita Dalled, each inspired the crowd with a beautiful, well prepared Dvar Torah in Yiddish. Talmid, Avremi Nelkin of Kita Beis then read the Rebbe’s Kapitul. Followed by a beautiful video presentation of ‘a day in Yeshivah’ which gave the parents a little peak into what goes on in the class room during the day. The audience was then entertained with an exciting story by Rabbi Barnett of Kita Alef and finally, a Chassidisher Bingo Game, which the boys have been learning for, for over a week!

The best part is always left for the end, the boys each received a personalized, beautifully decorated paper with the Hayom Yom of their birthday, which they were able to decorate and frame. The program then concluded with each father receiving a DVD with all the sichos it as a souvenir of the evening.

The evening would not have been possible if not for the hard work of Rabbi Yossi Langsam and the Lubavitcher Yeshiva PTA

A big Thank You to the Hanhola and Rebbeim of ULY for instilling Chassidishkeit and Middos Tovos in our Children. Aside from their everyday learning all the programs and contests for the chassidishe Yomim Tovim are really giving our children a geat understanding about those special days.May you all continue going from strength to strength.
