New IFS + Art Therapy Program for Single Women Launches in Crown Heights
A new five-week therapeutic art program, The Ketuba Within, is launching next week in Crown Heights for single women ages 21 and older. This unique offering combines creative expression with the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, guiding participants through the spiritually rich and introspective weeks of Sefira.
Developed and facilitated by Dalia Shusterman-Blum, LMSW, and sponsored by The Long Short Road—a nonprofit founded by Lubavitcher and suicide prevention educator Leigh Ioffe—the course encourages deep self-reflection, emotional healing, and self-compassion through the integrated practices of IFS and expressive art.
IFS (Internal Family Systems) is an evidence-based therapeutic model that views the mind as a system of distinct “parts,” each with its voice and purpose. By engaging these parts from a grounded, compassionate “Self,” individuals can access inner harmony and meaningful healing. In recent years, IFS has gained growing popularity in the frum community for its resonance with spiritual growth and emotional awareness.
