Section 8 Voucher Application Assistance Event at the Linden Blvd Library
Council Member Rita Joseph’s Office will be a holding a Section 8 sign-up event at the Flatbush Library at 22 Linden Blvd. from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week. It’s first come, first served.
Please see flyer below for information on what you must bring to the sin up event.

The government is no help for people who have lost their job and is struggling. I know because I lost my job, and my unemployment ran out. It’s taking 30-45 days to process my application. Imagine having zero income. I know who I will not be voting for.

I’m a senior living alone on a fourth floor walk-up! Living like a shut in. I need help with relocation. In a building that has elevator access. Have applied for section 8 for many yrs. Been on waiting list since 2018.and before the time there was no computer system in 1980s.

I appreciate you so much but I have to tell you something I filled out 10 applications for section 8 housing never have I got a response never have I heard from anybody never nobody call me sometimes you have doubts and you think why they put the application they’re not going to answer you I’m homelessness I stand the street sometimes I stay in the shelter sometimes I have no family in New York on
