BDE: Reuven Woonteiler, OBM
With great sadness we report the passing of Reb Reuven Woonteiler OBM, a long time resident of Crown Heights.
R’ Reuven helped many local teens, acting as a one man volunteer for youth at risk organization, he was also an inspiration to many in how he dealt with various difficulties with a smile and a kind word.
He is survived by his wife Basya Woonteiler, and his children Gershon, Chanie, Russi, Pesach, Mooky, Dovid, Menachem and Riki.
He was predeceased by his son Sruli.
The levaya will take place today, 1:00pm in front of 770 Eastern Parkway, and 2:00pm at Montefiore Cemetery.

You took me under your wing as a child. You took in my family to show us the beauty of Shabbos & Judiasm. Always giving and never asking for anything in return. You were there to teach me Hebrew, guided me as a young woman, danced at my Chuppah, celebrated the birth of my son and we’re there to help me say goodbye to my Mother.
