The Mikvah on Carroll Street Will Have Late Night Hours this Friday Night, after Asarah B’Teves

After fasting an entire day, going to mikvah can be difficult. Add to that the complexities of fasting on a Friday, and that poses an even greater challenge. Since Asarah B’Teves falls out on a Friday this year, women might expect to visit the mikvah before having a chance to hear kiddush and break their fast.

Not anymore.

The Mikvah, located at 1508 Carroll Street, is proud to announce late-night, post-meal hours for Friday night after Asarah B’Teves as a service for the women of Crown Heights. Instead of rushing to the mikvah right after candle lighting, before hearing kiddush, women will be able to come after eating a light meal, so their mikvah experience can be as comfortable as possible.

The Mikvah’s doors will be open from 8:30 – 8:50pm on Friday, December 22, for women who want to break their fast before visiting the mikvah. Please consult with your Rabbi for proper guidance on how to prepare for immersion post break-fast.

Bookings available only in advance. To book a standard appointment for after candle lighting, or a late-night reservation visit themikvah.info.
