Lubavitcher Yeshiva Crown Street Campaign Goes Live With Block Renaming, Tomchei Temimim Way

Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Crown Street is celebrating the newly named Tomchei Temimim Way with a campaign that will help put the final touches on its grand building expansion. 

“For over three decades, this building on Crown Street has been a pillar of true chassidishe chinuch in Crown Heights,” said menahel Rabbi Yosef Simpson.  “Now, the street name Tomchei Temimim Way reflects the far reaching impact of this holy and significant place.”

The address change was scheduled to coincide with the completion of the school’s expansion project. The eagerly anticipated grand opening comes after  just 12 months of construction. 

The new addition includes a state of the art gym and a rooftop play area, as well as additional classrooms and remedial rooms. It also includes an impressive shul and library.

Each detail of this expansion was planned with the talmidim’s growth and wellbeing in mind. The Bar Mitzvah boys now have a gorgeous shul to daven in, as well as proper spaces where they can learn and play.

The innovative team at the helm of this project didn’t simply create bigger and better rooms for the basic daily activities that exist in every school. They added unique features designed to nourish the students’ growth and nurture their talents, such as remedial classrooms on every floor, and specialized spaces for after school activities like music and art.
