Man Arrested After Making Bomb Threats In Crown Heights

A man was arrested Motzei Shabbos after calling in multiple bomb threats to 911. The man admitted to making the calls and was charged with four counts of “Making a Terroristic Threat.”

According to the NYPD, officers from the 71st Precinct received numerous 911 calls, all from the same callback number, in regards to bomb threats at various locations in the confines of the 71st precinct.

The man who made the calls, who the NYPD says is known to the department, then approached some NYPD officers and admitted to making the calls. After confirming that he had made the calls the man was placed under arrest and charged with four counts of Making a Terroristic Threat.

The bomb threats were investigated and deemed false. At this time, there are no known credible threats to the safety of the public in relation to this.

    If Canadian, we need to transfer/escort the accused back to Canada where he can be psychiatrically assessed and, if need be, treated & rehabilitated. This tragedy would be better handled in Canada. Thank G-D that (sick) prank caused no serious damage.
