The long search is over, and Chevra Ahavas Yisroel now has a new Rabbi.

Rabbi Moshe and Shaina Gitler, who recently returned to Crown Heights after a year running a Yeshiva Progran in Yerushalayim, have been announced as the new spiritual leaders of the congregation.

“Rabbi Moshe and Shaina Gitler have dedicated their lives to spreading the love, light, and hope of Judaism everywhere they go,” the shul wrote about the new appointment. “From Rebbetzin Shaina’s Shlichus in Hawaii to Rabbi Moshe’s Chazzanus in Mexico, and together leading a Yeshiva program in Jerusalem just last year, the two have now returned to Crown Heights to serve as spiritual and religious guides for Chevra Ahavas Yisroel.”

Rabbi Moshe Gitler is also currently a Judaic studies teacher at Yeshiva of Flatbush, and Rebbetzin Shaina is finishing her Nishmat Yoetzet Halacha course this year, according to the Shul.
