BDE: Yerucham Mordechai Hakohen Katz, 38, OBM
With great sadness we report the untimely passing of Yerucham Mordechai Hakohen Katz OBM, a much loved Crown Heights resident, husband, and father who gave his time to the Crown Heights community. He passed away Thursday night, the 27th of Elul, 5782 following a short illness.
He was 38 years old.
He is survived by his wife Sara, and children Eli, Esther and Avigail.
He is also survived by his mother Mrs. Malkie Katz, and siblings; Shneur Katz (New Haven, CT), Detty Leverton (Crown Heights), Shulamis Tenenbaum (North Miami Beach, FL), Shmaya Katz (New York), Sholom Ber Katz, (New Haven, CT), Mendel Katz (New Haven, CT), Alie Katz (New Haven, CT), Sara Leah Fridman (Crown Heights), Bassie Srugo (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Deena Lehr (Monsey, NY), Dovid Katz (Crown Heights), Yehudis Cohen (Kingston, PA), Brocha Lerman (Crown Heights), Chaviva New (Crown Heights), and Sruly Katz (New Haven).
The Levaya will take place today, Friday, at Shomrei Hadaas at 10:00am, and passing by 770 at approximately 11:00am.
