In a letter sent out by the New York State Democratic Committee, instructions for absentee ballots and voting by mail were clearly laid out.

Should you like to vote by mail, your ballots must be received by the County Board of Elections by no later than October 24th.

The Crown Heights Jewish community has emerged as a powerful player in local elections and has been credited with helping elect Assembly Member Brian Cunningham and New York City Councilmember Crystal Hudson.

With thousands of votes, and each elections strong voter turnout, Crown Heights can expect to see an increased interest from political candidates and elected officials.
