Another newly completed building has posted its affordable housing lottery in Crown Heights. 1537, 1539, and 1541 Dean Street, located between Albany Ave and Troy Ave, have nine available units, including 3 one-bedroom and 6 two-bedroom apartments.
According to NewYorkYimby, the apartments are available to those with 130% of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $63,429 to $187,330. For the one-bedroom apartments that would mean a monthly rent of $1,850, and $2,100 for a two-bedroom.
The building, designed by Asher Hershkowitz Architect and developed by Joseph Schlafrig of WMGT Construction, includes pet-friendly policies, security cameras, and a rooftop terrace. Units include washers and dryers, energy-efficient appliances, air conditioning, high-speed internet, name-brand kitchen countertops, appliances, and patios or balconies. Tenants are responsible for electricity with stove, heat, and hot water.
