New Condo Building Planned For Franklin Ave In Crown Heights

A new building is in the works for Franklin Ave in Crown heights with plans filed with the city for a 168 unit building.

According to NY Yimby, the six-story residential building will be located at 990 Franklin Avenue between Sullivan Place and Montgomery Street.

According to the plans, the 67-foot-tall development will have 249,902sf of residential space, 168 residences, a cellar, 30-foot-long rear yard, and 84 enclosed parking spaces.

The units in the building will most likely be condos based on the average unit size of 1,487 square feet.

The lot is near the Prospect Park subway station, serviced by the B, Q and shuttle trains.

The owner behind plans is named as Ian Bruce Eichner of Continuum Company under the Franklin Avenue Property Owner LLC.

According to NY Yimby, demolition permits have not yet been filed.
