We finally know what will be with the Associated Supermarket on Nostrand Ave.

Permits were filed by the owners to build a a five-story mixed-use building with mixed-income housing.

According to reporting by New York Yimby, the proposed 54-foot-tall development will yield 183,182 square feet, with 157,720 square feet designated for residential space, 24,516 square feet for commercial space, and 946 square feet for community facility space.

The building will have 178 residences, most likely rentals with an average unit scope of 886 square feet.

The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, 117 bicycle parking spaces, and 175 enclosed vehicle parking spaces.

The Associated grocery store currently on the property will have ground-floor space in the new development, so shopping can be done literally in house.

The building will stand adjacent to another large mixed use building presently being built on the lot next door to the supermarket, making the block very high population density.

Clove Road, which runs immediately behind the buildings, is also slated to become a pedestrian only walkway.
