Permits Filed For 1730 Bedford Avenue on the Corner of Empire Blvd

The corner lot on Bedford Ave and Empire Blvd will soon see a seven story building in Crown Heights, according to New York Yimby.

The proposed building, officially to be located at 1730 Bedford Ave , will be a 94-foot-tall development will yield 134,391 square feet, with 38,798 square feet designated for residential space, 39,596 square feet for community facility space, and 55,997 square feet for commercial space.

The building will have 57 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 680 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have 209 enclosed parking spaces, cellar, sub-cellar, and one loading berth.

Demolition permits were filed in September for the existing single-story building that was once used as a auto store.

An estimated completion date for the new project has not yet been announced.
