Two Buildings To Be Built On Empty Lot On Crown and Troy

Permits have been filed for not one, but two buildings to be built on the empty lot on the corner of Crown Street and Troy Ave next door to the Crown Condos at 580 Crown Street.

According to paperwork filed with the city, two seven story buildings located at 6oo and 630 Crown Street are to be built, making a total of 175 units covering over 185,000 square feet.

Not yet known is if the buildings, owned by PREMINGER LAND LLC, will be built for Jewish people, with amenities such as a double sink or livable space for larger families.

Demolition permits were approved by the city for the overgrown lots on July 6th of this year, and the trees and underbrush have since been removed.

– 74-foot-tall building

– 30 square feet of back yard space

The existing building, which is set to be demolished, is a Low-rise built in 1931 with 3 floors and 11,200 square feet of space.
