After more than a year of nearly no enforcement, traffic officers made their presence known in Crown Heights last night, ticketing dozens of illegally parked cars throughout the neighborhood.

Reports of tickets have come flooding in from Eastern Parkway to Lefferts Ave, with cars parked at pumps and in no parking zones getting tagged with an orange envelope.

If you have gotten out of habit in the last year, make it your business to check to make sure that your car is parked legally from now on.

Other forms of traffic enforcement is also ramping back up, with summonses officers back on the streets and check points set up throughout the city.
