With joyous dancing and celebration, a new Sefer Torah was welcomed to the Crown Heights Sunday afternoon and paraded through the streets of the community.

The sefer Torah was dedicated by R’ Yechezkel Halevi Levy-Haim, in memory of his parents R’ Nisin and Anbar Levy-Haim obm.

Following the completion of the new Sefer Torah in the Levy-Haim home on Sterling Street in Crown Heights, the procession made it’s way to 770 Eastern Parkway before coming back down Brooklyn Ave for Hakafos at the Sterling Streets outdoor Minyon.

The procession, led by an NYPD escort from the 71st Precinct and Sefer Torah truck, accompanied the newly completed Torah to music and dancing.
