NYPD Asks The Public To Help ID Crown Heights Shooters

by CrownHeights.info

The NYPD’s 71st Precinct, which covers a majority of the Crown Heights area, has asked the public to help identify the people that shot five last week on Brooklyn Ave and Sterling Street.

The 71st precinct wrote on twitter that “Our Detectives are looking to ID the pictured subjects who are wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred on 6/22 at 11pm at Brooklyn Ave & Sterling St.”

The three shooters opened fire on a group of individuals at a candle lit vigil for someone who had passed away. One of the five victims was shot in the head, and was evacuated to the hospital in critical condition.

The police noted that the shooters “fled in a black CHRYSLER SOUTHBOUND BROOKLYN AVENUE,” and asked that anyone with information contact the 71st precinct Detectives @ 718-735-0501.
