As The Mentally Ill Continue To Terrorize Crown Heights, Public Advocates Office Blames White Supremacy
by CrownHeights.info
As Crown Heights braces against an onslaught of crimes caused by the mentally ill, NYC’s Public Advocates office hopes to bring peace to the neighborhood through a march against anti-Semitism, and white supremacy.
The march was announced on the Community Board 9’s facebook page, and called for community members to join together in a march from Medger Evers Collage to the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights this Thursday.
The name of the march, ‘Community Walk against Anti-Semitism and White Supremacy’, created confusion and a few disgusted reactions in the Crown Heights community.
No recent white supremacist attacks have recently been reported in Crown Heights, and the language appears to equate the problem of white supremacy in Crown Heights with that of anti-Semitism.
Of the recent spate in attacks that have plagued the Crown Heights Jewish community, including many involving hate, nearly all of them have been perpetrated by mentally ill people, and almost none of them Caucasians.
