Crown Heights 71st Precinct To Get New Commanding Officer
by CrownHeights.info
Crown Heights’s 71st Police precinct will see a new leader this coming week, as the NYPD shuffles around its precincts commanding officers.
The present commanding officer, Deputy Inspector Francis Giordano, will be leaving, and Deputy Inspector Tito Romero, previously the commanding officer of the 63rd precinct, will be taking command of the 71st precinct.
Deputy Inspector Romero comes with extensive experience policing Jewish areas, as his previous command covered the Marine Park, and parts of the Flatbush areas.
The moving of commands is a routine change made by the NYPD every few years.
Thank you Inspector Giordano for all you have done for Crown Heights, while being an outstanding @NYPD71Pct commanding officer! We wish you continued success in all of your endeavors and our community will always remember your leadership and big heart! #LegendCO #LovedByAll https://t.co/5WAKHaRCmw
