A child was struck by a car on Eastern Parkway Thursday afternoon, while he was crossing a street on his bike. The car remained on scene, and child was rushed to the hospital by Hatzalah.
A child was struck by a car around 5:30pm Thursday afternoon, while he was crossing Brooklyn Ave on his bike.
The boy had been out biking with his friends, and had attempted to cross over Brooklyn Ave on the side of Oholei Torah.
Witnesses say that the boy was thrown into the air, before lying motionless in the middle of the intersection. The boy regained consciousness and was able to walk soon after.
Hatzalah was rushed to the scene as a 911 ambulance stopped as well.
The car remained on scene, and the boy transported to the hospital by Hatzalah.
