Students, Teachers and administrators of United Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Crown Street gathered outside for the first school-wide group photo since 1991.

In the 1991 photo, taken shortly after the school opened, everyone fit comfortably on the school’s front steps. This time, police temporarily closed Crown Street and Albany Ave. for the 650 Students and 50 faculty members to pose for the portrait.

I will be dan lekav zechus and assume you meant that in a nice way – without judging and without comparing..or subtle nuances of who is better or greater.

Obviously it would be difficult for you, being you are probably unemployed and live in a shoe-box ;)

What a beautiful picture of a wonderful yeshiva in our neighborhood.

    Thanks for posting this!

does it bother you that uly is thriving? they already have 3 full classes in each of the younger grades, and iyh they will be adding a fourth.

P.S. you sound like some die hard ot fan who cant stand the fact that uly is growing, despite not having a PR campain. JUST LIVE AND LET LIVE AND STOP BASHING EVERYTHING THIS WONDERFULL SCHOOL IS DOING!

unnecessary. Doesn’t sound like it’s coming from a good place.
ULY b”H is a great school and thriving, yes, some Rebbeim are better than others, some grade you’ll have more luck than with another….it’s all understandable, and the way it works in every yeshiva or school in this community. It is bound to happen.
ULY cares and are mentchlich to the parent body. Money speaks like it does in every facet of life, but not to the extent that it speaks at some other schools.
Each yeshiva has its maalos and chisronos, it is not a race, not a competition, and every school should get its moment to shine. Here you could have applied the age old saying, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it.
:) I wish you only good, and may the good in life and your personal life always be highlighted more than the bad :)

Rabbi Langsam he’s the man behind the scenes dEnothing too big not too small

  • seriously???

I just can’t understand how an innocent picture became a school bashing/competition session? It’s just a school picture! That’s it. It should finish there!
