Partnership Brings In New Business Resources

In an effort to bring new business resources to the community, Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs (CHYE) has teamed up with the Business Outreach Center (BOC) Network, a business development organization with over a decade-long record of delivering customized business services to entrepreneurs in New York City and more recently, in Newark, New Jersey; offering capacity-building services to organizations establishing and operating community and micro-enterprise development programs.

The BOC Network’s growing alliance of Business Outreach Centers or “BOCs”, as they are referred to, connect local entrepreneurs to a bevy of business assistance services and helpful team members as well as to financial counsel, legal advisement, and other beneficial resources. BOC’s reliable staffers successfully guide individuals through the process of starting and developing their ideas or businesses, followed by consistent meets to propel progress and to allow strategies to evolve and businesses to flourish.

BOC’s long standing relationships with banks, business development centers, and pro-bono legal groups, offer reassurance and key tools for expansion. The result is often a burgeoning business. Thus proving, with the right counseling; confidence and perseverance is restored and serves as testament for any budding lucrative entrepreneur.

The organization caters to community businesses, industrial businesses, manufacturing, construction contractors, child day care programs, and regular neighborhood businesses, scaled large or small. Tool kits include: marketing, business plan templates, financial projections, a variety of workshops and accessible business information, leasing guidance, financing preparation for loan applications, and credit building. Their loan program is specifically designed to help build credit; serving as a cash flow for businesses purposes, insisting the business will then have the capacity to pay back the loan.

BOC projects a 10 million dollar milestone within their loan program, and has trained over 1500 licensed home-based child care providers, as of present. As Director Nancy Carin enthuses, “We believe in helping aspiring entrepreneurs in any way we possibly can to ensure success.” CHYE shares this same mantra; we firmly believe that it is our responsibility to ourselves and to our CrownHeights community to inspire and to encourage others to strive for excellence; within their spiritual and intellectual pursuits.

CHYE is ecstatic to be collaborating with a revered organization like BOC. “We are excited to bring BOC into CHYE and into our neighborhood,” Director Rabbi Yehoshua Werde shares. “A person can now have the opportunity to really grow their businesses and take it to the next level!”

“At CHYE, we are all about lighting the way toward ultimate success. With BOC on our side, we are positive we can achieve greatness,” he said.
