Guilty Verdict for Traffic Violation Issued by… Whom?
Crown Heights [CHI] — A Crown Heights motorist recently contested a $115 traffic ticket in court. A guilty verdict was mailed to him in return, but take a closer look at the name of the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) presiding over his case. Is this his real name? Is this a case of anti-Semitism? or perhaps an elaborate Purim prank by someone in the city’s justice department? You decide.

I NEVER EVER TRUST ANY COPS

Really? such a slow news day? Muslims have that name.
verify
verify if this is indeed his name, which it probably is. in that case no story. if it’s not his name, well then you have a case on your hands
mg
for those who cant read he signed Alla Akbar!
Simcha
thank you for this article – i was rolling on the floor from laughter. There is no one by that name and if their is – get out of New York as soon New York will be run by muslims like in France and UK.
Sam
The city has people hired to tell you that you are denied for your claim. Its a sham, these are not real judges!
whatt
huh
Not From CH
I think CrownHeights.info thinks its funny because the judge’s name is the same as the Islamic call to prayer. It means “God is great.’
Not as odd as naming someone ”Moshiach,” as I know some have done.
try again
Take it to a higher court.

For all those laughing, I heard some time ago that there was someone name Yechi Hamelech Hamoshiach in CH! What is more ridiculous? Alla Akbar or Yechi Hamelech Hamoshiach?
do not let this pass!
All jokes aside, what is the motorist doing about it? Did he take it to the all-seeing, all-doing, CHJCC? They can make anything disappear…including this community.
Get the Guy-s Credentials
If this guy is an Admin Law Judge, get his license number. The name looks fake.
And yeah, it looks like New York is getting overrun with people wearing shmattas on their heads who advocate extermination of Jews, G-d forbid. Don’t kid yourself. A religious Muslim has to hate Jews. there is no other option for them.

Hey, No. 13, when you wrote that “New York is getting overrun with people wearing shmattas on their heads” my first thought was that you were refering to chasidim with shtreimels. But to my surprise you went a different way.

#13: go crack open a history book. There are indeed a lot of religious Muslims who think that way, but you can find plenty of counterexamples, such as in Spain during the early era of the rishonim (before Rambam’s times).
Response to #13
There are many turban wearing Sikhs in the city. Sikhs are monotheists with a peaceful philosophy, and have and continue to suffer from Muslim persecution. Just because someone wears a “shmata” on their head as you so derisively called it does not mean they “advocate extermination of Jews”. Sikhs wear head coverings and have full beards as religious obligations and expressions of piety. Sound familiar?
Terri from FL
I recd the same thing: an undeserved $115 pkg ticket (which I disputed via mail attaching 5 pics plus a muni meter receipt) ….. I was in the process of moving from Queens to Fla and gave them my new address to send their reply ….. they sent the judgement to a mangled version of my NY address which eventually made it to my NY mailbox despite my changing my address with USPS back in Oct (my neighbor has my old mailbox key, checked the box for me and mailed me their letter) ….. not only did they uphold the ticket noting that my evidence was insufficient and sent the judgement to the wrong address, but it was signed by an ALJ supposedly named Al Akbar ….. the signature is illegible and NOT the same as the one pictured on your judgement letter.
I’m so glad I moved out of NY, no more pkg tickets, no more garage pymts, no more parallel pkg bumper scratches/dents, no more snow/sleet, people are nicer in the stores and it’s much less expensive to live here ….. NYC Pkg Enforcement and USPS both suck.
This is silly
I disputed a parking ticket and the same ALJ found me not guilty. Thank you Al-Akbar !
