BEWARE: Crown Heights Rapist at Large

Police are searching for a man police say raped a teenage girl at knifepoint in Crown Heights earlier this week.

Police say the man seen in the above police sketch approached the 18-year-old victim on Buffalo Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say he forced the victim into an alley and raped her.

The man is believed to be between 18 to 23 years old and 5-feet-7-inches to 5-feet-9-inches tall with a medium build.

He has a dark birthmark on the lower right side of his face and was last seen wearing a black du-rag.
