Photos: Beis Rivka Girls ‘Arrive to the Garden’
Mothers who volunteer in the Beis Rivka’s PTA spent time last night dressing up the elementary school building in the theme of the ‘Maamar Bosi Legani’ – ‘I Arrived in my Garden’ in honor of Yud Shvat.
The decorations, which are made up of flowers that were made by the children as arts and crafts, adorn the stairways and landings of all the floors in the building on Lefferts Avenue. The kids were greeted with the refreshing surprise this morning as they arrived in school.

It gave me such a good feeling when I walked in. The rich and chasidishe chinuch definitely gives the rebbe a lot if nachas. Thanks

very lovely.
G.O..... where have you gone?
I remember when my older ones were in elementary, the G.O. for the year (comprised of girls from 8th grade) would be the ones to come up with this and many other projects…. It’s nice that the PTA mothers did it, but I can’t help but wonder…. where are you G.O.?? It was so special to watch you all get involved and active in the myriads of chances the school year and all the Chassidishe Yomim Tovim provided for you girls to act upon your talents!! I took a lot of pride in watching all the little things that made big time difference for my girls schooldays, even if the girls in G.O. were not my girls, the pride in their work was mine! Walking into the building was/is an experience all by itself! There is no place like the Rebbe’s Schunah… and there is no place like Beth Rivkah, both of which I call home.

I am sure it brought a lot of smiles on the kids faces.
mmm
I think that if the girls did something themselves it would be (have been) more meaningful.
wow
The beautiful garden added so much to the yud shvat atmosphere. Yasher Koach to all those involved!

(always rely on someone to find a negative….) You see all the flowers on the wall. The girls made all of those. It was just hung up by the mothers.

my daughter in 6th grade and her class also made some of the flowers and by the looks of it some younger girls also drew flowers

Wow this is beautiful. Some people love to complain, look at the positive. This was all made by the girls and parents/PTA parents together, with Ahavas Yisroel. PTA parents work very hard and are very involved behind the scenes, thinking and doing for each Yomtov, eg. Chanukah gelt for teachers, games for classrooms, gifts for staff. We should thank the PTA for the umbrellas we (staff) all received for chanuka etc…

i am a mother of a BR graduate and grandmother to
BR student who is very involved in projects. But the fact that the “Mothers” put time and effort in this project can only be a powerful message to students.
chassidishe way of life is forever; not only when you are “in school”. It is real!
it is inspiring

I have to say I saw it when I picked up my girls yesterday and was very impressed! My 8 year old especially told me how surprised she was when she saw it and how much she loved it. Keep up the good work PTA!
