Beis Medrash Chovevei Torah Appoints New Menahel

Beis Medrash Chovevei Torah has announced the appointment of Rabbi Mendel Blau to the position of Menahel of the Yeshiva for the coming year. Rabbi Blau, a maggid shiur with many years of experience and success in chinuch, is known for his good rapport with bochurim, innovative educational ideas and vast knowledge.


Beis Medrash Chovevei Torah is confident that Rabbi Blau will build and improve on the past success of the yeshiva. The Yeshiva is widely recognized for its warm environment and high level of learning in Nigleh and Chassidus from its world famous Roshei Yeshiva, Mashpiim, and Maggidei Shiur.

The Yeshiva thanks Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld for his dedicated work as the menahel in the yeshiva during the past 8 years.

    “Many Years”. Rabbi Mdendel Blau looks like a young man. How old is he? How many years of teaching does he “really” have. Why not mention the name of the two other Rabbis in the picture? Is that Rabbi Winner? Boy did he get to look old he’s only in his mid-fifties.

    Great news, as a former student of Chovevei Torah i am happy to see that this Yeshiva is moving ahead.
    I wish all the devoted staff of this great yeshiva that they should be Matzliach and be able to continue their great work in instilling true Yiras Shamayim in ALL of the talmidim.
