An 18-year-old man was arrested late Thursday in connection with Wednesday’s deadly shooting of a teenager in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

Dequan Edwards of Brooklyn was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Tyrek O’Hara-Morris, 14, seen above, was shot in the head outside a neighborhood store on Park Place and Troy Avenue.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital where he died.

His family and friends gathered for a vigil Thursday night.

“They are all feeling the path of that bullet. When a bullet doesn’t stop after it hits a person and takes a life, it continues to travel and rips apart the anatomy of our community,” said Brooklyn Senator Eric Adams.

Police department figures show this was the second killing in the 77th Precinct so far this year, compared with six murders last year.

I feel for them. There are some very kind and innocent blacks who don’t know why this is happening. The leaders really must take more action, to teach morality to the kids, there has to be more they can do to help out.
but then they are really messed up by the democrats who offer them gov’t support so they will get votes. that keeps them in their problems to a great extent.
