Beis Rivkah Acquires 9 New Properties
CrownHeights.info has learned that Beis Rivkah has acquired nine new lots adjacent to Campus Chomesh. The new properties will enable the school to expand and enlarge their building in order to accommodate the schools growing number of students.
The deal was closed last night and was made possible by a generous gift from Mr. David Slager.

ya go benji!!
Uh Oh,
I am not looking forward to what they are going to ask us now for the Building Fund.

Baruch Hashem, but maybe we can get the roof fixed first? And something could be done with the trailers?
oh ye!!
yayaya!!!!!!!!
back pay now
Very nice!! Now please pay your teachers. I can say that because I don’t have girls in the school anymore, they are all married, so I don’t pay tuition. But it’s very sad to know how badly the teachers are paid. Yes, it’s important to grow physically, but how can there not be any money for salaries when you build?
Where are other Gvirim who can get salaries back on track? I know it’s not as glamorous as having a building named after you, but these teachers are devoted & parents can only be bled so much. I should know, I was one of the payers. In this economy I’m grateful I don’t have kids in school, I can’t afford the tuition I used to pay.
good news
yay I guess that means the teachers will be getting paid now that we discovered this whole new cache.

Go Benjy?!?! Go Rabbi Shemtov!! Nothing wrong with Benjy, but its rabbi A Shemtov, the 70+ year old man which puts together MILLIONS of dollars a year, from thin air to keep this mosad that was so dear to the Rebbe running. (among his many other imp stuff that he does). Does anyone in CH have some appreciation???? A little bit of decency????
Green and Red
Hopefully they will stay in the green and this won’t put them in the red.
Teach in school
Go benji
Nothing can be done without you!!!

Great
Great news! I am a greatful parent who truly appreciates this!
Yes, the school needs to work on things so they can pay their teachers on time, and be able to retain their best teachers, that is a noble goal too. In no way does it discount this beautiful news.
Oh, and anyone who calls people “farmers” needs to check their view of the world and their sense of ahavas yisroal.Seriously, get out of your own head and labeling people so you can feel better about putting people down, how immature.
Never happen
Better pay for teachers? Did I hear someone say collective bargining?
Thank you!! Wonderful news!
Thank you Rabbi Shmetov! and Thank you Reb Dovid fro being such a great example of tzedaka and chesed. Mimenu yir’u vechin ya’asu!
chossid
pay for teachers should come from tuitions
This Rabbi A Shemtov is a true chossid, just if you compare with JCC that got more than 6 millions and the money is missing. This Rabbi gets 2 millions and go to the all community
get your priorities straight
space is not something the school is lacking in, why search for donors for an addition to the building?? you need space, go use those empty classrooms in your “old” building at 310 crown st. go find donors to pay your teachers or to help start a tuition fund to help those struggling families (who are alumni of YOUR school where they were brainwashed about having large families and the “dangers” of college which is usually not synonymous with paying full tuition)

not all of us are farmers by choice, show some sensitivity!

golda dee
to number 16 there are no extra classes at bais rivka high school, maybe they should take these extra buildings and build the high school. There are way too many problems with the old building such as it is falling apart and there is no proper heating, not to mention the bathroom situation. I believe its important to learn in a nice clean place. Another great idea would be to build a recreational pool for the school and for the community. Thank you for Mr. David for helping the school may hashem continue to give you blessings.
