How Many Languages Can You Say Hello In?

In honor of the kinnus hashluchos, Lubavitcher Yeshiva of Crown Heights had a contest to see how many languages the kids could say hello in.

Rabbi Simpson relates “it was really nice to walk down the halls and hear all the kids so eagerly involved.”

The 8 winners all came up with over 20 languages!

Congratulations!

    to #1:

LY holds every year a Tanya contest and the children get involved very nicely.
We can see things negative when we want to so: Trach gut ve zain gut!

  • To #1 from a parent of ULY 1st grader

the boys 5-6 years of age say 27 lines of tanya by heart, so no need to be so …; GO ULY! Please do list what are the languages the boys know as a request from those who are positive.

    hey SS!
Tanya? they know that too. what about the kids who have difficulty learning tanya….what about giving kids other ways to shine?
personally, it gave me and my son some time to bond and laugh together writing down all the funny ways hi is said.

don’t look for criticism, you’ll always find it.

ps- my son knows 28 lines of tanya by heart.
