Papa Bear Tevel Remembered One Year Later
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Family, Friends and many others gathered this Motzai Shabbos for a Melava Malakah and Farbrengen, which marked a year since the passing of Reb Yossi ‘papa bear’ Tevel OBM. There is hardly a soul who has not been positively touch by him, and that sentiment was echoed throughout the event.
Reb Yossi was taken from us on the 3rd of Shvat, after suffering a stroke on Shabbos, stunning the entire community with the tragic news.
The gathered crowd heard from Reb Yossis children and friends, who shared some amazing and little known stories of Chesed that he did on a daily basis.
