Bnos Chomesh Goes Biking!
A group of students from Bnos Chomesh Girls’ High School took to the bike paths on Governors Island as part of the breakout of their “Ma’alin Bakodesh” program.
Ma’alin Bakodesh is a program that encourages students to work on their growth in Ruchniyus. To celebrate their enrollment in the program, a biking trip was planned.
“The biking trip is a metaphor for Ma’alin Bakodesh,” says Chanale Chanin, director of programs at Bnos Chomesh. “Just like in biking you prepare yourself, and go on a path towards a goal, so too with our avodah in ruchniyus. We have to constantly be moving forward.”
Ma’alin Bakodesh will incorporate a variety of projects, trips and activities all designed to help Bnos Chomesh students integrate their ruchniyus into their lives.
