Heifers to Face the Skullcaps in Championships

In two best of series both the Hammers and the Tribe were eliminated, and the Heifers and Skullcaps will go on to the championships.

The Heifers beat the Tribe after trailing for six innings when they scored 4 runs in the sixth, taking the lead, and then retiring 3 of the Tribes batters in the top of the 7th to end the game.

The Skullcaps fell behind to a 1 nothing lead by the Hammers, who stayed ahead through the 5th where they tied it up, and finally took the lead in the 6th and held on to it with a final score of 7-4.

The Heifers and the Skullcaps will be squaring off for the world championship title on Tuesday, August 24th at the St. Johns Recreation park on Troy and Bergen.
