Vaad Pitches, Red Heifers Take Game 1
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] – Opening game 1 of the Crown Heights Softball Leagues finals were the three members of the Vaad Hakohol, who together all threw out the first pitch, opening up the game for the Heifers to beat the Tribe.
Right in the first inning the Heifers jumped to an early lead scoring one run, and then tacking 2 more on in the third, while remaining ahead the entire game and keeping the tribe at bay.
The final score was 7-4 to the Heifers.
Second game of the night had the Hammers setting off against the Skullcaps, with the Skullcaps winning the first of their series with a final score of 6-3.
