Yagdil Torah Opening Beis Medrash in Crown Heights

Inspired by the Rebbe’s Mivzah Torah campaign, Yagdil Torah has set out to provide a sanctuary for Anash to sit and learn Torah at leisure. As we all know, Limmud Torah is paramount for a strong foundation in both Yiddishkeit and Chassidishkeit.

Yagdil Torah is pleased to announce the grand opening of our new Heichal Halimud – Bais Medrash. Located in the heart of Crown Heights, Heichal Halimud is center wholly dedicated to the advancement of Torah study within our community. With an extensive Sefarim Library and comfortable atmosphere, Heichal Halimud is the perfect venue for chavrusa learning, personal study, and small shiurim.

“There must be a place for people to learn at all times,” said Rabbi Yosef Heller a senior Rov in Crown Heights. In a few short weeks, this dream will become a reality!

The Heichal Halimud Center for Torah Learning has been generously dedicated by the Barber Family in loving memory of הרה“ח התמים ר’ יצחק בן הרה”ח ר’ אליהו ז”ל. We will be marking his yahrtzeit with the commencement of this beautiful endeavor. We would also like to thank David Slager and Family for contributing to this venture.

Please join us in support and solidarity as we cut the ribbon and inaugurate this significant new moised! The event will take place Sunday, August 15 at 5:00 PM on the site of the future Heichal Halimud located at 574 Empire Boulevard. The event will include a line-up of prominent speakers, a tour of the new establishment, and a time to honor those who have made a significant effort to make this dream a reality.

To contribute to the new center please contact us at Yagdiltorah.org or 347-223-5943.

  • Unity!!??

Whar happened to learning in 770!!!??? It seems only Israelis are learning in 770. Why can’t all chasidim learn in 770 together (Chassis Ein Mishpocha).

  • As advertised

Yagdil Torah is pretty good at keeping what they advertise.
in this case I really hope it is what it is supposed to be: an excellent place to learn in CH

  • simcha goldberg

Welt hey advertised they were opening a center 18 months ago on Kingston and that died..

I think the place is too small…. good luck

  • To #2

    DAA…!
Why are you acting dumb?! You are pretending not to understand why 770 – of all places – is NOT the place nowadays to learn normally!

Did you ever hear of “tzaftim”? “pins”? “flags”? “slogans”? “posters”?

    come on…!

  • what for?

like there is not enough places to learn already?
we should focus on financially helping families who came to crown heights with Mesiras nefesh.
but really this one is making a deal for that one and etc

  • beautiful!

How apropos! A Beis Medrish in memory of R’ Yitzchok Barber, a yid who went to Beis Medrish daily to Daven and learn, especially at this time, with his Yartzeit approaching.

  • Yashar koach Heichal haLimud

What’s with all the negativity? Let’s find good things to say for people who are doing good things. Hashem is big enough to establish places of learning AND help needy families. Why the need to find fault ALWAYS? Instead of knocking people, go out and do something positive yourself! You’ll feel so much better and bring more light into the world.
