Bikur Cholim of CH Selected as Partner in ING Marathon
Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights has been selected as one of New York Road Runners’ Charity Partners for the ING New York City Marathon taking place on Sunday, November 7, 2010. This opportunity enables Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights to provide guaranteed marathon entries to a limited number of runners who pledge to make a donation or to raise funds for Bikur Cholim.
Runners who have guaranteed entry through the lottery can still sign up to be a part of this dynamic team!
Join Team BIkur Cholim for a fantastic race experience, including:
· Guaranteed race entry and with all race fees covered.
· A personalized Team Bikur Cholim technical jersey.
· Professional coaching by Chaim Backman (who has completed over 15 races of various distances, including marathons, triathlons and duathlons), offering guided group runs, weekly running schedules, and answers to all your running questions throughout the training period.
· Ongoing assistance with fundraising, including a personal webpage.
· Private pre-race team dinner for runners and their guests.
· Race day cheering section at mile TBA.
Runners can participate in honor of the refuah of a loved one, or to raise awareness for Bikur Cholim.
